How We Run a Trial

  • 1. Shellfish Bioassays

    Hatchery/lab tests examine key commercially sensitive species under OAE conditions and compare to untreated controls

  • 2. Baseline Monitoring

    Map currents and water chemistry (>1 year). Data are freely shared with the local community

  • 3. Dosing

    Initial pilots will have small time-boxed additions with pre-set stop-rules.

  • 4. Measurements

    Physical, chemical, geological (if applicable), and biological parameters are measured to determine CO₂ removed and effects on local environment.

  • 5. Review

    Share outcomes publicly; adapt or stop based on evidence.
